Europe rewards travelers who move around: a weekend in one capital, a train to the next, a few days on the coast. A regional eSIM follows you across borders, so you don't buy a new plan at every stop.
Regional plan or one plan per country?
A regional plan covers every country on its list with one eSIM and one balance of data. Single-country plans can cost less when you stay in one place. As a rule of thumb, two or more countries is where a regional plan starts to make sense.
Check the country list
Every regional plan lists the countries it covers. Check yours against the full route, including transit stops and day trips. Some popular destinations sit outside the region's usual borders, so a quick look saves surprises.
How much data for a few weeks?
- Maps and messages only: around 1 GB a week.
- Social media and photos: 2–3 GB a week.
- Video calls or working on the road: 5 GB a week or more, or an unlimited plan.
Crossing a border
When you cross into the next country, the eSIM switches to a local network on its own. If it doesn't connect within a few minutes, turn airplane mode on and off, or choose a network manually in your phone's settings.
