When does my plan start?
It depends on the plan, and the plan page always tells you before you buy.
- Starts on first connection: most plans start counting the first time the eSIM connects to a network in a covered destination. Installing at home doesn't use any days.
- Starts at purchase: some plans start counting as soon as you buy. Buy these close to your departure date.
Either way, install the eSIM before you travel while you still have Wi-Fi. You'll find the start rule, days and data in My eSIMs too.
